Fashion has always been my passion, but my journey to founding Collezione by S(tudio)G(oertz)D(esign) was shaped by an eclectic mix of studies and experiences.
French roots … made in Italy (Rome), where my parents - both artists - did a scholarship stay at the famous Villa Massimo; Born and raised in Germany as an artists child of the Generation X, I studied philosophy and the history of art, which deepened my appreciation for the cultural narratives and deeper meanings behind art and design. This blend of education and inspiration shaped my approach to fashion as both an art form and an expression of personal identity.
I embarked on a creative path that led me to study fashion and art in Florence—where the rich history of craftsmanship and aesthetics first inspired my vision. There, I immersed myself in the world of haute couture, learning how the finest fabrics, colours, and designs come together to create something timeless.
Returning to Germany, I expanded my understanding of the visual arts by studying graphic design. This experience gave me a sharp eye for precision, structure, and balance—essential skills that influence every piece I design today.
